It seems San Pedro de Alcantara is the most up and coming place to buy with money continually pouring in for redevelopment.
First there was a new tunnel built to help with the build-up of heavy traffic, this was soon followed by a new boulevard turning this once sleepy town into an up and coming trendy place for all ages.
There are now plans for new pavements, new signs, street décor as well as better telecommunications such as fibre optic being installed, there will be better lighting and a better irrigation system put in place too, not that we get lots of rain but when we do it does cause major problems.
Over a million euros has already been spent on improving this town and more will be spent in the near future, companies such as Taylor Wimpey are building apartments all over san Pedro for the many people looking to relocate to this stunning part of the Costa del Sol.
Rentals have increased dramatically in san Pedro due to the great schools on offer for children of all ages, last September there were very few available properties as they had all been reserved before the school term started.
Property here will always be popular due to the location, no need for a car as everything you could possibly want is on your doorstep, great beaches, restaurants, tapas, bars etc. are at your disposal all day every day.
